Last August has been one of the busiest months of my life... First I went to U.S.A. and apart of saying it has been the worst of all of my trips, I also can say it was made up by the gigs I could see…The first one was KISS with AEROSMITH and SALIVA…I was a bit surprised KISS were the openning band for AEROSMITH, but it seens that ballads and playing with Britney Spears has made AEROSMITH really big in the States, even when the 90% of the T shirts people were wearing were of KISS. But the truth was that I expected for a bigger show, and they did it better 6 years ago here in Madrid. They played some great hits as: Rock’n’Roll all nite, Do u love me, I want you, Detroit Rock City, Shout it out loud, Gods of thunder were as always Gene flew as a bat and Peter Criss sang Beth. But I missed “Strutter” and more hits instead of another ones I didn’t know well, well I haven’t got the chance to see them oflenly so… Anyway always is great seeing KISS, I finished with pain on my legs and throat because of singing and dancing. AEROSMITH, I didn’t expected much of them as I didn’t like much their show here in San Sebastian (Spain) 10 years ago, but I must admit they did it really well, playing their old rocker songs as the one they started with: Mama Kin. Not many of their latest ballads, just good rock n roll and they anticipated some of the songs of thir future album that will be blues, with a small stage inside the big one… they are in a good moment.
Next gig was OCTANE and POISON at Electric Factory in Philadelphia. About OCTANE I’ve got nothing to say as they are nu metal and I don’t understand why they had to open for POISON. For me was great to see for the first time in my whole life this band. That’s something you are watching and can’t believe it…After an intro they played one after one their big songs, I didn’t care which ones they could play as I love all of them: Look what the cat dragged in, I wont forget you, Your mamma don’t dance, Ride the wind, Everyrose has its thorm,Unskinny bop, Something to believe dedicated to the american troops after a speech by Bret …Talk dirty to me, Fallen angel, Stand, and from their last album just Squeeze box, the bises Rock’n’ Roll all nite and Nothing but a good time, all with confetti, fireworks and colourful lights that made it a big party.. YEAH!.. Next day after 7 hours by car we arrived to Manchester (NH). At Verizom Wireless pavillion we arrived just at time when the USA national anthem was sounding to make SKID ROW their appearance on stage, with a new singer in the place of Sebastian Bach, they also played their old songs, like: Piece of me, Youth gone wild, 18 and life, I remember you that made all the pavillion sing, Slave to the grind, Monkey bussiness, and from their new album: New generation, Thin as skin, a RAMONES cover Psycho therapy., etc..Then is time for VINCE NEIL, that for my surprise has in his band VIKKI FOX on drums, Vince plays all the big M?TLEY CR?E tunes, so what can I say…. Dr Feelgood, Kickstart my heart, Wild side, Girls, girls, girls, Home sweet home, Look that kill, etc.. perhaps not as spectacular as a M?TLEY CR?E gig and knowing VINCE NEIL has got a cheek, but for me that was the first time I saw him was an amazing experience!. Finishing the night, POISON again, they played the same set at the last day but they changed the order of Something to believe by Everyrose has its thorm. With different backsets and more fireworks was really a big party again as I guess I never have seen before.

Magenta...I also went to the Skid/Vince/Poison show....and I too thought it was Vikki Fox on drums...but it's not him...hehehe.
The drummer is Brent Fitz who also drummed in the band Union with John Corabi. I talked to him for a few minutes after their set. From the distance he looks like Vikki but he's too tall to be him. When I talked to him he reminded me more of Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes.
But other than that...it was one great show!!!

Creeper, why didn't you tell me you were going to be there? I hadn't any problem to park, just to take my camera inside . But anyway a friend of mine could hide his one, so soon I will post the pics,I really liked that place, I wish we could have one here in Madrid similar to that one. But the thing that I don't like in every gig I have been there is the lots of people telling you what u must do, don't do... security guards and that stuff, oh,and thanks to God(MARC BOLAN) I don't smoke.
